WWTW- Bubbles, Burdens And The Breeze

mindfulmamamadness

Have you ever watched bubbles floating along the breeze? Delicate and carefree, glistening in the sunlight. Do you find yourself imagining how it would feel to have our burdens lifted and carried away? Does it feel so impossible to let go of our cares and unimaginable that we could be freed from them? Do you feel heavy and weakened by the seemingly never-ending responsibilities and trials that are placed throughout your days? There is a way to have these burdens lifted, and it is set out clearly in the scriptures for us.

Jesus calls us and He says "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

What a blessing to have our solution set out so simply for us! What a gift that we may receive rest for our souls! Blessed Be God, the God of all comfort who comforteth us in all our tribulation. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

We read also in Psalm 31 that God will strengthen the hearts of all that believe in Him. Though your burdens may feel at times that they are more than you can bear, we are to remember that we do not have to carry them alone. Trust in The Lord that he may give you the strength you need.

Bear in mind also these words from Romans "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

Let us cast our cares upon the one that careth for us that our burdens may be lifted and float away from us like bubbles in the breeze.
